The Reems Creek HOA is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community by promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents.
Our goal is to foster a strong sense of community and enhance the value of our homes through adherence to our community covenants, rules, and restrictions.
We're located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, within the town limits of charming Weaverville. The community is also about 15 minutes north of the vibrant and engaging city of Asheville, NC.

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
The North Carolina Adopt-a-Highway program is a joint effort between community
volunteers and the NCDOT. The RCGC Adopt a Highway received a 25-year recognition award and plaque in 2017 for its outstanding participation in this very appreciated volunteer program. RCGC adopted the section of Reems Creek Road between Pink Fox and Eller Cove Roads. Clean-up is done four times a year and all are welcome to participate on any or all dates. Volunteers are notified a few days prior to each clean-up via email.
CANASTA
Canasta is a classic card game of the rummy family believed to be a variety of 500 Rum. Join us at the Clubhouse on Tuesdays at 1:00. Everyone is welcome.
GARDENING/PLANT EXCHANGE
The Gardening Group provides interested residents with information about local
gardening events, garden clubs, and free plant exchanges. Many of us have a large variety of plants to share with others. So if you are new to gardening in the mountains, just moved here, need gardening advice, or would like to know about free plants from your neighbors, this is the group for you.
GIGGLES GOLF
The Giggles Golf group is a social group that chases little balls around the golf course. We play 9 holes followed by drinks and/or food. All levels of players are welcome to join us in a scramble format. This means that each player takes their next shot from the spot of the best previous shot of a fellow player. Our players rank from beginners on up, but no one is allowed to take themselves too seriously. Tee-off groupings are randomly assigned each week so that players get to golf with a variety of people. We are an inclusive group, open to all HOA members.
HIKING GROUP
The Hiking Group is a great way to get to know your neighbors, stretch your legs, and commune with nature. We take in the beautiful scenery of this area in which we live. The hikes are generally 4 to 6 miles long, over various terrain. We try to hike the first Tuesday of each month (March - September) and it's
usually a full-day event. All hike dates are announced in the monthly SLICE newsletter. Group participants will also receive an email describing the upcoming hike and general difficulty.
SOCIAL & LINUS GROUP
A woman's group for those who enjoy sewing and/or socializing. We meet once a month to not only crochet, knit, or sew. We chat, sometimes nibble, and always make it fun. Many of the blankets we make are donated to Project Linus which provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. The group meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at a member’s home. We also take field trips to creative venues, attend instructive workshops, and have an all-around fun time socializing.
