ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
The North Carolina Adopt-a-Highway program is a joint effort between community volunteers and the NCDOT. The RCGC Adopt a Highway received a 25-year recognition award and plaque in 2017 for its outstanding participation in this very appreciated volunteer program. RCGC adopted the section of Reems Creek Road between Pink Fox and Eller Cove Roads. Clean-up is done four times a year and all are welcome to participate on any or all dates. Volunteers are notified a few days prior to each clean-up via email.
CANASTA
Canasta is a classic card game of the rummy family believed to be a variety of 500 Rum. Join us at the Clubhouse on Tuesdays at 1:00. Everyone is welcome.
COMMUNITY, CONVERSATION, AND COFFEE
While we were once known for our "Stitch 'n Bitch" roots, this gathering has become more about the bond than the craft. You’re welcome to bring a current project to work on, but the real highlight is the time spent together. Join us once a quarter from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for a late-morning social hosted in a community home.
GIGGLES GOLF
The Giggles Golf group is a social group that chases little balls around the golf course. We play 9 holes followed by drinks and/or food. All levels of players are welcome to join us in a scramble format. This means that each player takes their next shot from the spot of the best previous shot of a fellow player. Our players rank from beginners on up, but no one is allowed to take themselves too seriously. Tee-off groupings are randomly assigned each week so that players get to golf with a variety of people. We are an inclusive group, open to all HOA members.
*All Groups are independent and not a part of or affiliated with the RCHOA.

The vendors below are available for consultation and quotes for tree work and debris removal. We ask that you consider this as informational only (not a recommendation) and that you use due diligence in verifying a vendor’s insurance and other relevant information.
These vendors have done work in our neighborhood:

These companies are provided as additional resources for tree work. Again, we ask that you consider this as informational only (not a recommendation) and that you use due diligence in verifying a vendor’s insurance and other relevant information.
Please note that unfortunately, the Town of Weaverville has had no control over when or exactly where Frontier will be running their lines. Thereby, the Board also hasn't had access to that information.
Go to www.frontier.com, then click on SEARCH and type 'Property Damage'. In the Damage Claim Form black box, select ‘Report Property Damage’ and then fill in the form. The Town of Weaverville is not made aware of Frontier’s scheduled work.
